About GraciasGracias

Mexico's Community Board

GraciasGracias is where people in Mexico find what's happening tonight, a room to rent, something to buy, and other people to meet. One board, built for the city it lives in.

About me

My name is Bryan Yañez. My father was born here in Mexico, and my mother was born in New York City to a Colombian-born mother and a Cuban-born father. My family's history is one of immigration, and like my family, I left my home country. I am an American and Mexican citizen with a great love for both countries.

But when I came to Mexico, I was lost and confused; I wasn't fluent in Spanish at all. My love for Mexico didn't need words, but my journey and success did require good communication and connection.

GraciasGracias is the culmination of everything I learned while building a life and a community on my Mexico journey. I created this community board so that whether you are visiting, moving here, a resident, a self-deportee, or a lifelong citizen, together we can communicate and help each other live our best life in Mexico.
